Job Details:

* Work 8-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
* Block schedule with 8-hour shifts
* Every other weekend required
* Must be available for at least half of holidays during assignment
* No on-call responsibilities
* Floating requirements apply
* Scrub color: Any solid color, clean and professional
* Patient ratio: RNs 1:20, LPNs 1:20, CNAs 1:8
* Perform charting, assessments, charge duties, and medication administration
* Clinical skills required include IV insertion, catheterization, ostomy care, and titratable drips
* Experience working with elderly patients required
* Common patient diagnoses include dementia, frailty, elderly care, and rehabilitation
* Utilize ECS electronic medical records system
* BSN not required
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)

Facility:

This post-acute care facility is a nursing home attached to a hospital with 70 beds, the majority of which are private rooms. The facility supports an interdisciplinary team including therapy, administration, social workers, activities, dietary, housekeeping, and respiratory therapy available on-site 24/7. Physician availability is provided after hours, and an on-site pharmacy with medication dispensing system is available to support clinical staff.
