Job Details:

* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 40 hours of orientation provided
* Float between sister facility approximately 16-20 miles away on rare occasions
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Locals accepted within 50-mile radius
* Pending licenses not accepted - compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Trauma Level II experience required
* Scrub color: Royal Blue or Navy Blue
* Free parking available
* Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
* Manage cardiac, neuro, med-surg, and trauma patients in a Level II Trauma Center
* Perform and manage procedures including hypothermia protocol, CRRT, TAVR, CABG, and TBI care
* Operate specialized equipment including Arctic Sun, IABP, Impella, EVD, Belmont, Cheetah Monitor, and Flo Trac
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
* RTO must be included at time of submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

This acute care hospital features 277 staffed beds and a 26-bed ICU with a daily census of approximately 20 patients. The facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center, offering advanced cardiac and neurosurgical services including open heart surgery, CABG, TAVR, and traumatic brain injury management. The hospital provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support with services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
