Opportunity:

Labor & Delivery RN

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour day shifts per week
* Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
* Unit accepts first-time travelers
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
* State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
* Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
* Experience with charting systems required
* Provide care in a Labor & Delivery unit with 200-300 facility births per month
* Experience with high risk antepartum and triage of obstetrical patients required
* Perform and assist with IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration
* Maintain central lines including CVC and PICC lines
* Administer anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy
* Assist with high risk deliveries and circulate and recover C-sections
* Perform sterile vaginal exams
* Follow isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols
* Teaching hospital environment

The unit is equipped to handle high-risk antepartum cases and complex obstetrical needs, providing a dynamic and supportive environment for skilled nursing professionals. The facility maintains high standards of patient care across a full range of maternal and neonatal services.
