Opportunity:
RN - Outpatient Vascular Lab
Job Details:
* 3x8 shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, initially Monday through Wednesday
* As caseload builds, schedule may increase to 4x8 or 5x8 with additional weekday shifts
* Schedule flexibility is required - no scheduling requests can be accommodated
* No weekend, on-call, or call requirements
* Floating required - traveler must be flexible
* 3 years of RN experience required
* Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
* Active California RN license required at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC); NIHSS preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Hard stop requirements: EVLT and Vein Ablation experience required
* Treats adult patient population
* Daily census of approximately 8 patients across 3 rooms
* Performs procedures including diagnostic angiograms, lower extremity angioplasty, stent placement, and fistulagrams
* Required skills include: angioplasty, carotid stenting, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, sheath removal and monitoring, endovascular interventions, interventional radiology, scrub and circulate procedures, stent graft placement, vascular closure systems, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and central venous access among others
* 2 supervisory references from within the past year required at time of submission
Facility:
This outpatient vascular laboratory is a specialized facility focused on diagnosing and treating vascular conditions in adult patients. The unit performs a range of advanced vascular procedures including diagnostic angiograms, lower extremity angioplasty, stent placements, and fistulagrams. The facility utilizes Epic as its charting system and maintains a structured, procedure-driven environment that requires experienced and highly skilled nursing professionals.
