Opportunity:

RN - Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry

Job Details:

* 3x12 or 4x12 night shift schedule available
* Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per contract
* Patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Charting system experience required - Epic
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include: blood product administration, central line care and management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions and PPE, managing cardiac drips without titration, managing vasoactive drips without titration, management of dysrhythmias, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care and management, and use of rapid response and code teams
* Special equipment experience needed: BiPAP/CPAP, IPPB, and high-flow heated humidifier
* Special procedures performed include emergent cardioversion and central line placement
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as heart failure, TAVR, CABG, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, renal failure, and respiratory failure
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
* Up to two pre-approved time off requests allowed
* Float to other units is possible

This facility operates a 24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry floor and is recognized as a comprehensive stroke center, Level II Trauma, and Chest Pain Accredited facility. The organization is equipped to provide complex care to patients undergoing PCI and open-heart surgery procedures, supported by a full interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
