RN - L&D

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment
* Day shift, 7:00 AM start time
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* 4 weekend shifts required per month
* No on-call requirements
* Must be able to charge for nights
* 48 guaranteed hours are not available for this assignment
* Patient ratio of 2:1
* 12-bed unit with 1 unit tech each shift and 1 unit secretary on day shift
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Floating policy applies as needed
* Perform and circulate C-sections
* Minimum 2+ years of L&D experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN)
* Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* RNC certification preferred
* Meditech experience preferred
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Nails must be clean and healthy
* Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
* Body art must be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

This facility is a well-equipped Labor & Delivery unit offering comprehensive maternity care services. The unit features a dedicated team including unit technicians and secretarial support, and utilizes the Meditech documentation system to ensure seamless patient care. The facility is committed to maintaining high standards of care with structured staffing ratios and a professional environment for both staff and patients.
