Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2509.80

Opportunity:

Acute Care Inpatient PT

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts
* Minimum of 2 weekends per month required (6 total in a 13-week contract)
* Daily patient caseload of approximately 10 patients
* Patients treated across adults and geriatrics age groups
* Stroke Certified Center with ortho-heavy caseload
* No wound care required
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Free parking available
* Facility may call off once per two-week pay period (guaranteed hours policy)
* Block scheduling available at manager's discretion
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and valid state license
* Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Epic charting experience required
* May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

This is a MAGNET-designated acute care hospital with 426 total staffed beds, reflecting a strong commitment to nursing excellence and high-quality patient care. The facility is a Stroke Certified Center with a robust orthopedic caseload and a comprehensive physical therapy department serving a daily census of approximately 110 patients. Interdisciplinary support services include IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, social services, and more, ensuring a well-rounded and collaborative care environment.
