Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Day shift hours: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
* Night shift hours: 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
* Every other weekend required with no on-call responsibilities
* Patient ratio of 1:4 depending on acuity
* Work in a 15-bed freestanding emergency department
* Must clock out for lunch breaks and any time leaving the building, and communicate to the CNC
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs, no hoodies
* Utilize equipment including Baxter pumps, Hamilton vents, GE cardiac monitors, and Stryker stretchers
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform splinting, wound care, IV starts, medication administration, assessments, reassessments, documentation, and oversight of EMT-Ps
* Must demonstrate skills in rapidly identifying sepsis, STEMI, stroke, and trauma
* Must demonstrate compassion, sense of urgency, and ability to work as a team player
* Experience with airway management and ventilators preferred
* Strong critical thinking skills preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CPI or equivalent, PALS or ENPC
