Opportunity:

CT Tech / Radiology

Job Details:

* Perform diagnostic CT scans for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
* Review requisitions to ensure completeness, verifying patient name, diagnosis, and description of requested exam
* Select appropriate imaging protocols and adjust equipment to produce proper radiographic exposure
* Perform scanning procedures of various organs to localize sites of pathological processes
* Administer oral and IV contrast as appropriate and document administration in charting system
* Complete exam screenings, consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner
* Experience required in: abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, and multiplanar reconstruction
* Cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging experience required
* Adult acute care, adult outpatient, Emergency Department, adult ICU, and pediatric acute care experience required
* Contrast media preparation and administration experience required
* GE, Siemens, and PACS experience required
* Operating Room, NICU, and PICU experience preferred
* Charting system: Cerner (required)
* 2 years of CT Tech experience required
* Teaching hospital and community hospital experience required
* Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS and ARRT-R
* ARRT advanced certification preferred
* Active Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required
* Any color scrubs permitted
* Candidates may float within facility within scope; Radiology may also float to an affiliate hospital nearby
