CT Technologist - Radiology

Job Details:

* Work shifts Monday through Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
* Shift notes indicate Monday through Thursday from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM for CT/Diagnostic Tech
* 32 to 36 hours per week guaranteed
* No weekend or holiday requirements
* No on-call or standby requirement
* Call required - two shifts per month
* Perform CT general emergency room and outpatient imaging studies
* Must be willing to cover CT, General X-ray, and perform OR procedures as needed
* Work in a department with 2 scanners/rooms
* No floating or coverage of other areas required outside of CT, General X-ray, and OR
* Radiologist is in-house
* IV starts are not required
* Use Philips and Toshiba imaging equipment
* Utilize Cerner EMR and PACS charting system
* Teal scrubs provided by facility
* Department-specific orientation provided
* Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract; 3 shifts if contract is under 13 weeks
* Required certifications: ARRT (CT and Radiology), BLS Certification, Crisis Protocol Approved
* Arizona state license required for both Radiology and CT
* BSN not required

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a Radiology and CT department equipped with modern Philips and Toshiba imaging technology across two dedicated scanning rooms. The department supports both emergency and outpatient CT studies with an in-house radiologist available and utilizes Cerner for its electronic medical records and PACS system. The facility provides scrubs and department-specific orientation to ensure contractors are set up for success.
