RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work in a 30-bed emergency department with 8 additional hall beds
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Every other weekend requirement
* Required to wear royal blue scrubs
* Work with equipment including Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, Ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
* Utilize Meditech EMR system
* Perform procedures including NIH assessments, IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
* TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
* Must demonstrate compassion and empathy in patient care
* Team player mentality required

This emergency department is a 30-bed unit staffed by a team of 77 professionals, including charge nurses, registered nurses, paramedics, and LVNs. The facility offers 24-hour emergency care with a well-structured staffing model across both day and night shifts, supported by advanced medical equipment and technology to handle a wide range of emergency cases. The unit is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to its patient population.
