Special Procedures Technologist
Job Details:
* Support IC, IR, Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro specialties
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Block scheduling with attempts made to schedule as consistently as possible
* Daily caseload of 15 patients
* Weeknight and weekend call required
* On-call requirement: 8 call days within a 4-week period, with a 2-hour minimum callback
* 1 call weekend every 3-5 weeks covering Friday through Monday
* 24-hour on-call coverage required on Saturdays and Sundays
* Float within cath lab unit as needed; no floating to sister facilities required
* Treat patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Top procedures include Structural Heart (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac, and EP
* Required skills include: Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Left Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias, Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablator Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, and Sterile Technique
* Equipment used includes: Philips Imaging Systems, Philips Xper Hemo System, Philips IVUS/IFR/FFR, Boston IVUS IFR/FFR, OCT, Roto, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave
* Electronic charting system experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT (R), BLS, and State License
* First-time travelers accepted
* Restricted time off: 7 days maximum
