Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* 3x12 or 4x12 night shift schedule available
* Block schedule approved
* Weekend coverage required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 with consistent day, night, and weekend ratios
* 10-bed unit with a daily census of 8 patients
* Patients include adults and geriatric populations
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, PICC line management, pre/post cardiac cath/intervention, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, suctioning (ETT, NT), phlebotomy, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
