RN - Endoscopy
Job Details:
* Schedule consists of two 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and two 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) totaling a 36-hour work week
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:2 with 3 rooms, 11 beds, and an average daily census of 20 patients
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Required procedures and skills: ERCP (experience required), ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS Procedures, Colonoscopy, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), and ION Procedure
* Skills required include administering and monitoring conscious sedation, circulating, and scrubbing
* Unit systems used: Pyxis and Epic
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Floating is not required
* Call requirements: 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call per 6-week schedule
* 2 to 3 weekends required per contract
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* Requested time off blackout dates include Spring Break (April 4th - 12th)
* No requested time off can be submitted during orientation week (Monday through Sunday)
* Holiday work expectations: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
* Major holidays include New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve and Day
* Minimum of 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
* 40 orientation hours required
