Open Position: CT Technologist - CT Tech

Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every 3rd weekend required
* No on-call requirements
* May float to like units within scope to meet facility needs
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Provide quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT modalities
* Effectively explain procedures to patients and ensure competency in all procedures performed
* Produce images for the interpretation and/or request of a licensed practitioner
* Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Common patient diagnoses include STEMI, stroke/CVA, cardiac, and trauma cases
* Some outpatient procedures performed; primarily adult population with some pediatric patients
* Required certifications: ARRT Radiography (R), ARRT Computed Tomography (C), SCRQSA, BLS, ACLS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Teal blue top with black bottoms
* Parking available for nights and weekends with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Preferred experience: Emergency, trauma, pediatrics, orthopedic exams in both modalities, Siemens equipment, Epic, and PACS
* Radiation badge must be provided by agency
* Facility operates Siemens X-Ray and Siemens CT equipment
* Facility is permitted to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of application

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. The facility supports a wide range of complex patient cases including cardiac, trauma, and stroke, and offers interdisciplinary support through interpretation services and radiology. The imaging department utilizes Siemens equipment and Epic charting, and serves both inpatient and some outpatient populations across all age groups.
