Job Details:

* Work in a high volume structural echo lab performing TEE, stress echo, and complete TTE
* Utilize Lumason contrast, 3D and Strain imaging techniques
* See patients across inpatient, ICU, and outpatient settings
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Case load for a 10-hour shift is approximately 8 TTEs
* Enter preliminary reports in collaboration with cardiologists
* Support organ recovery center (ORC) and Shepherds Spine Center
* Perform structural echos including TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, and ASD closures
* Scan patients with devices such as LVAD, Impella, and ECMO
* Float within facility and scope of practice as needed
* On-call requirement: 1 week of call twice during a 13-week contract
* Holiday coverage required - if one major holiday falls within assignment, traveler is expected to work it; if two holidays fall within assignment, both are expected to be worked; if three holidays fall within assignment, two are expected to be worked
* Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
* Minimum 5 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, and RDCS or CCI RCS required; GA license required
* Required skills: 3D Echo, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bubble Study, Emergency Department, ICU, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo, TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, and ASD closures
* Experience with Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
* 8 orientation hours required
