Job Details:
* 3x12 night shift schedule
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required to units of equal acuity
* Unit contains 36 rooms/beds
* Half of weekend shifts required per contract
* One pre-approved time off request allowed
* Serves adult and geriatric patient populations
* Required certification: BLS
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Required skills include: Accessing/Managing Ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Manage Cardiac drips, Management of dysrhythmias, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, PCA, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Starting and maintaining IVs, Telemetry, Telemetry remote monitoring, Tracheostomy care/management, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, and Wound Care/Wound Vac
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation
