Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* No on-call responsibilities
* Up to one working weekend shift required every 4 weeks
* Traveler will be required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas: December 24?26 or New Year's: December 31?January 1)
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* 2 years of OR RN experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred; RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Serve patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups
* Work within a 21-suite operating room covering all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Parking permit available for a $20 registration fee for use of the designated parking garage

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The main operating room is a busy and dynamic nurse-driven department featuring 21 OR suites that cover all surgical specialties. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, and the department is equipped with cutting-edge technology to serve the surrounding community. Interdisciplinary support services include interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support.
