RN - ICU

Job Details:

* 3x12 hour night shifts
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Dark Gray
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required skills include: arterial line management, care of the patient on ECMO, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, ECMO, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), isolation precautions/PPE, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, nurse driven ECMO protocols, PICC line management, post cardiac surgery care, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Unit consists of 10 beds with a daily census of 7
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
