Job Details:

* Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 13-week assignment
* 36-hour weekly guarantee
* 100-mile radius rule applies
* Travel experience required
* Current NYS RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
* MEDITECH experience required
* Must graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
* Critical care and charge experience preferred
* Must have the ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
* Must possess thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to provide quality patient care and assess patient needs including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
* Must recognize safety issues and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to move patients safely
* Must function well in stressful situations with strong creative problem-solving skills
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate
* May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required
* Must successfully complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and be defibrillation certified within six months
* Must be IV, medication, and phlebotomy certified during orientation
