Open Position: RN - Circulator OR

Job Details:

* Day shift position Monday through Friday with shift start time of 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
* Scheduled for 8-hour shifts but may be required to stay late until cases are completed
* Minimum of 1 weekday call shift per week required with a 30-minute response time
* Up to every other weekend of call required with a 30-minute response time
* Required to rotate holiday call with a 30-minute response time
* Work in a 6-suite operating room averaging 22 cases per day
* Common cases include scleral buckle, vitrectomy, corneal transplants, cataracts, minor general surgery, minor spine stabilization procedures, spinal cord stimulators, ENT procedures, and dental
* Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as an OR Tech/RN
* Must have experience in ophthalmology and be able to independently perform cataract and cornea procedures
* Must be able to scrub as well as circulate ambulatory surgery procedures
* May be required to float to other surgical departments
* Scrubs will be provided
* Charting system: EPIC
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive surgical department with 6 operating suites handling an average of 22 cases per day. The surgical program offers a wide range of procedures including ophthalmology, general surgery, spine, ENT, and dental cases. The facility provides hospital orientation followed by unit-specific orientation with staff in the One Day Surgery Building.
