Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work in a 30-bed Emergency Department with 8 additional hall beds
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Required to work every other weekend
* Wear royal blue scrubs per dress code requirements
* Use equipment including Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, Ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Perform procedures including NIH assessments, IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
* Preferred skills include TNCC and ENPC certifications
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
* Must demonstrate compassion and empathy in patient care
* Team player mentality required

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a fully equipped Emergency Department located on the second floor, staffed by a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, registered nurses, and paramedics or LVNs across both day and night shifts. The department maintains a strong focus on quality emergency care with a robust team of 77 staff members and access to advanced medical equipment to support a wide range of emergency patient needs.
