Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour day shifts Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Holiday rotation required
* On-call rotation required with staff
* Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities and may also float to Interventional Radiology
* Attend staff meetings as required
* Daily caseload varies per shift and location
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Orientation hours: 40
* Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Siemens experience required; Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Must have South Carolina license in hand at time of start - pending licenses not accepted
* Agency must supply radiation badge - facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT)
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
* Parking: Nights and weekends cost only; one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Required skills include: CT procedures for abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, sinuses, and soft tissue neck; brain perfusion; vascular CTA; musculoskeletal trauma; Level 1 Trauma; multiplanar reconstruction; 3D rendering; preparation and administration of contrast media; starting peripheral IVs; radiation safety; isolation precautions/PPE; PACS; and Siemens equipment operation
* Special equipment: Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7)
* IR/Angio/Special procedures experience preferred including biopsies and drainage
* Patient age groups served: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
* 3 CT rooms; daily census of 130

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center teaching hospital with 865 staffed beds. The facility handles a wide range of cases including routine studies, outpatient procedures, cardiac imaging, and Interventional Radiology procedures. The CT department operates Siemens imaging equipment and utilizes Epic for charting, supporting a high-acuity patient population across multiple campus locations.
