Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 7 days a week
* On-call requirement from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday through Friday
* Friday to Saturday on-call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Saturday to Sunday on-call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Sunday to Monday on-call from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM
* Rotating schedule every 3 weeks with 1 week of call and 1 weekend included
* Every 3rd weekend requirement with potential for more until staff stability is achieved
* Holiday requirements follow the rotation schedule as they fall
* Work in inpatient pharmacy department supporting ER, ICU, inpatient, infusion center, and oncology center operations
* Perform compounding, order entry, and order verification with required inpatient knowledge
* Work with and supervise pharmacy technicians
* Pyxis ADC medication dispensing system experience required
* Paragon experience preferred
* Must be competent as an inpatient pharmacist
* Charting system: Allscripts
* Dress code: casual or scrubs (scrubs provided)
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Michigan pharmacist and controlled substance license required
* Must be capable of completing training within 1 to 2 weeks

Facility:

This inpatient acute care facility operates a comprehensive pharmacy department supporting all inpatient operations across multiple care areas including emergency, intensive care, infusion, and oncology services. The department utilizes a Pyxis automated dispensing cabinet system and Allscripts charting platform, and is managed by an experienced pharmacy team including highly skilled pharmacy technicians. Orientation is provided directly by the pharmacy manager to ensure a smooth transition for new staff.
