Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg (or applicable unit based on facility context)

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 36-48 hours per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnoses and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans prescribing interventions to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing, and caring environments
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients and families
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Must have EPIC experience
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
* Acute care facility experience: Preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved AHA vendor), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA or ARC)
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
