Job Details:

* 26-week assignment with night shifts scheduled 3x12 hours
* Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period with the possibility of being called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks
* Weekend coverage may be more frequent than every other weekend and is subject to staffing needs
* Float required to lower acuity units, renal care, neuro, and medical surgical units within scope
* Block scheduling not available
* Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* No on-call requirements
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Free parking available
* Bedside RN patient ratio of 1:4; CNA patient ratio of 1:6
* Co-Care/Virtual Nursing Model utilized each patient has 1 bedside RN, 1 Virtual RN, and 1 CNA
* Care for a wide variety of patient populations including cardiac (CHF, MI, TAVR, MVR, pacemaker, arrhythmia, ACS), respiratory (COPD, asthma, trach, chronic home ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP), neuro overflow, renal overflow, and complex medical surgical patients
* Philips Monitors in each room, Masimo Capnography, and safe patient handling equipment utilized on unit
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submittal

The facility offers a comprehensive stepdown unit from the ICU serving multiple patient population disciplines, supported by advanced monitoring technology and a collaborative interdisciplinary care team.
