Job Details:

* Multiple shift options available: 8-hour days (6:45 AM?3:15 PM), 10-hour days (6:45 AM?5:15 PM), 12-hour days (6:45 AM?7:15 PM), and 12-hour nights (6:45 PM?7:15 AM)
* Weekend rotation is unlikely but possible if weekend staff are off
* On-call required approximately 2 weeknights (7:00 PM?7:00 AM) and 1 weekend (7:00 PM Friday?7:00 AM Monday) every 6 weeks with a 30-minute response time; night shift staff not required to take call
* 2+ years of high-level acute OR experience required; adult and pediatric experience will be considered
* First-time travelers accepted with 5+ years of experience
* Patient types include neonates through adult-sized patients, developmentally delayed and/or congenital anomaly patients, pediatric traumas (MVAs, GSWs, shaken baby), neurosurgery (craniotomies, EVDs, shunts), spine (scoliosis repairs, spinal injuries), urology, gynecology, orthopedics, oncology, ENT, and general GI-related surgeries
* Experience preferred but not required in dental, ophthalmology (strabismus repairs), and robotics (DaVinci XI)
* Required skills include scrubbing above listed case types; robotics, high-level neuro, eyes, and dental experience preferred
* EMR system: Epic
* Floating may occur to PICU to assist with procedures and NICU
* Required certifications: BLS, CST
* Washington state license required (must be in hand or have proof of application submitted 6+ weeks ago)
* Scrub colors provided by facility

Facility:

This is a Level II pediatric trauma center with 152 total licensed beds and a 70-bed Level IV NICU. The facility operates 8 total operating rooms, including 7 general ORs and 1 CVOR, supporting a wide range of surgical specialties. The organization provides comprehensive surgical care to patients ranging from neonates to adult-sized patients, with a strong focus on pediatric and congenital care.
