MRI Technologist

Job Details:

* Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 5:15 PM with call
* At least one day of call required per week
* Maximum 7 days requested time off - must be willing to add to end of assignment
* Minimum 3 years of recent hospital experience required (not including Per Diem)
* Minimum 2 years of GE experience required
* Level 3 Trauma experience required
* ARRT-MR certification required - ARMRIT certification alone will not be accepted
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrubs: Navy
* Free parking available in any unrestricted space
* Will assist with breast patients and positioning
* Must have GE equipment experience
* Required skills include: MRI of abdomen, brain, breast, chest, pelvis, spine, and extremities; MRA/MRV imaging; MRCP; gradient echo and spin echo imaging; T-1 and T-2 weighted images; image post-processing; contrast media preparation and administration; starting peripheral IVs; and working with surface coils
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

This facility is a 186-bed Magnet-designated teaching hospital offering a high level of specialized care. As a Level 3 Trauma center, the facility is equipped to handle a wide range of complex medical cases and supports a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
