Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 on days, nights, and weekends
* No on-call required
* No weekend requirement
* First-time travelers accepted
* Float between like units required
* Block schedule available at manager's discretion
* Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
* 24 orientation hours provided
* Scrubs: any color; L&D and OR scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Free parking available
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, LA City Fire Card (must be within the last 30 days), California state license (must be in hand)
* Must be able to circulate for cesarean sections in the operating room
* Prefer experience at a facility that performs a minimum of 200 deliveries per month
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* Treats patient age groups including neonates and adults
* Unit has 10 rooms, 15 beds, and a daily census of 12
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
