Open Position: RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology

Opportunity:

Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Details:

* 13-week contract with potential for ongoing need
* Shift length is flexible with 8-hour or 10-hour shifts available
* Shift start times vary between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM depending on day of week and shift length chosen
* On-call requirements of up to 2 days per week currently, with potential to transition to up to 10 days per month when fully staffed
* No current weekend requirements, though Saturday or Sunday on-call may be added in the future
* Perform interventional radiology procedures in a newly installed Siemens IR suite
* Assist with general X-ray when no interventional radiology procedures are being performed
* Document using EPIC electronic health records system
* Interventional radiology or cath lab experience required (cath lab candidates may be trained on IR procedures)
* Active Illinois IEMA license required
* Board-certified X-ray technologist through ARRT required
* Interventional radiology certification is not required
* Required certifications: CPR/BLS, ACLS

This facility is a full-service hospital offering a wide range of medical and surgical services, including an interventional radiology department that is in the process of installing a brand new state-of-the-art imaging suite. The facility supports multiple specialty units and utilizes EPIC for electronic health record documentation, demonstrating a commitment to modern healthcare technology and patient care excellence.
