Job Details:

* 7 days on / 7 days off block schedule starting Thursday evening and ending Wednesday morning
* Night shift hours from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required (7 days on / 7 days off rotation)
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers must have 5+ years of experience
* Level II Trauma experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
* Perform CT imaging including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, lumbar, thoracic, cervical, and soft tissue neck studies
* Perform advanced imaging procedures including vascular chest studies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
* Operate Siemens equipment including Flash, DRIVE, and EDGE systems
* Utilize PACS system and perform 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
* Adhere to radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
* Treat patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* 2 references required covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
* Scrub color: any color (scrubs provided in sterile units)

This short-term acute care Level II Trauma teaching hospital operates with 209 total staff beds and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, social services, lift teams, and rapid response teams. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains a well-staffed CT department with multiple technologists across day, evening, and night shifts. The organization is equipped with advanced Siemens imaging technology to support a wide range of diagnostic and interventional CT procedures.
