MRI Tech
Job Details:
* 3x12 night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM with set consecutive nights to be determined
* No on-call required
* Average caseload of 6 to 9 exams per day
* 1 MRI tech on duty on weekends with an assistant to help with exams, patient transport, and orders
* Must be able to work independently
* Must have experience with Siemens equipment; facility uses Siemens Magnetum Aera
* Emergency room experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Must perform X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, lower extremities, and upper extremities
* MRI skills required include brain, breast, cardiac, cervical, chest, female and male pelvis, foot, hand, hip/bony pelvis, knee, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx, shoulder, thoracic, temporomandibular joint, spinal trauma, and upper and lower extremity long bones
* Must be proficient in preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
* Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE required
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submittal
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Required certifications: ARRT MR, BLS, Washington State License
* Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
