Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
* 36 or 48 hours per week available
* Block scheduling type
* Weekend coverage required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Staff will work both the 12-bed ICU unit and the 35-bed Med-Surg unit
* Float to Med-Surg required with a 1:5 patient ratio
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics (18 years and older)
* Patient diagnoses include vent weaning, wound care, spinal cord injury, and trach/PEG
* Daily census of 35 patients
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Epic EMR charting system experience required with a minimum of 1 year
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include arterial line management, central line care, chest tubes, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, modes of ventilation, tracheostomy care, vent weaning, and complex wound care, among others
