CT/Xray Tech

Job Details:

* Weekend overnight shifts: Friday 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM, Saturday 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM, Sunday 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
* Perform both CT and X-Ray procedures
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
* Required skills include: 3D rendering, CT abdomen with and/or without contrast, chest, head, pelvis, and soft tissue neck imaging, multiplanar reconstruction, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, musculoskeletal trauma, vascular chest imaging (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), starting peripheral IVs, venipuncture, PACS, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* Scrub color: any color
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility

Facility:

This short-term acute care teaching hospital operates with 59 total staff beds and 48 unit beds across 2 radiology rooms. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. Parking is available at no cost to staff.
