Open Position: RN - L&D

Opportunity:

L&D Nights

Job Details:

* Night shift position with option of 36 or 48 hours per week
* 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks or every third weekend required
* Float to Postpartum as needed based on facility needs
* 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, AWHONN, NRP - must be in hand at time of submission
* Valid KS or Compact RN license required at time of submission
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Provide care for laboring patients including high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes for gestations 34 weeks 0 days and greater
* Assist with C-sections, External Cephalic Versions, and vaginal deliveries
* Manage OB Triage, Postpartum, and Level 2 Special Care Nursery patients
* Care for patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
* Perform neonatal resuscitation, newborn assessments, and fetal heart rate monitoring
* Administer Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin, and other obstetric medications
* Must be located outside a 50-mile local radius; locals not accepted

Facility:

This facility operates a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit that provides comprehensive obstetric care, including OB Triage, Postpartum care, and a Level 2 Special Care Nursery. The unit supports a wide range of obstetric services including C-sections, External Cephalic Versions, and management of complex high-risk pregnancies. The facility is equipped to handle a broad spectrum of maternal and neonatal needs, offering an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
