Job Details:

* Shift schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with late hours until 8:30 PM as needed
* Every other Saturday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; if scheduled on a Saturday, a day off will be provided during the week
* Schedule posted one week in advance
* 2-3 weekend shifts per month required
* Float between 4 sites: Shoreline Medical Center (Guilford, CT), North Haven Medical Center (North Haven, CT), Long Wharf Medical Center (New Haven, CT), and Smilow Cancer Hospital (New Haven, CT)
* Guaranteed hours provided
* Minimum 4 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Cross-training as Breast Sonographer preferred
* Experience with Hologic equipment required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, Breast Ultrasound
* Required skills: 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Inpatient, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Outpatient, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms, Universal Precautions/Core Measures
* Scrub color: Teal tops and bottoms
* Interdisciplinary support available through Radiology
* Patient population: Adults
* RTO greater than 7 days requires approval
* Parking cost: $125/month

Facility:

This is a short-term acute care facility and Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds. The facility operates across multiple medical center locations and utilizes Epic for charting. The organization provides a wide range of specialty services including oncology care and comprehensive radiology support across its network of sites.
