Opportunity:

Mammography Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with late hours until 8:30 PM as needed
* Every other Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM required; if scheduled on Saturday, a day off will be provided during the week
* Schedule posted one week in advance
* Guaranteed hours included
* Weekend coverage required with approximately 2-3 weekend shifts per month
* Float between 4 sites located in Guilford, North Haven, and New Haven, CT
* Cross training as Breast Sonographer preferred
* Minimum 4 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, Breast Ultrasound
* Experience with Hologic equipment required
* Skills required include: 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Radiation Safety, and Screening Mammograms
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: Teal tops and bottoms
* Patients served are adults

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility is a Level I Trauma Center with 1,567 total staffed beds, offering a comprehensive range of medical services across multiple locations. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and is supported by a robust radiology and interdisciplinary team. With multiple outpatient and medical center sites in the area, this organization provides both inpatient and outpatient care to a diverse patient population.
