Medical-Surgical ICU

Job Details:

* 3x12 day shifts with block scheduling
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period required
* Float required based on schedule
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS*, PALS*
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
* Required skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CVVHD/CRRT, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, isolation precautions/PPE, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, phlebotomy, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, and ventilator management
* Special equipment: CRRT (NXXT Stage)
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
