Open Position: RN - CVICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2810.44

Opportunity:

CVICU / Registered Nurse

Job Details:

* Patient ratio of 1:1-2; ratios may vary if floated
* Every other weekend and applicable holidays required
* Floating required to all ICUs, PACU, ED for ICU holding patients, and all IMC units
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Care for fresh hearts, ventilated patients, chest tubes and lumbar drains, and patients with chronic and acute renal failure
* Required experience with Post Op Open Heart Recovery, Swan, FloTrac, Temp Pacers, A-lines, and Chest Tubes
* Must have experience with CVICU and fresh open heart cases such as CABG, MVR, AVR, and TAVR; SICU experience with initial training in a CVICU may be considered
* Must have experience with devices including Impella, IABP, and CRRT using Prismax, OR experience with fresh heart cases
* Minimum 2 years of current CVICU experience required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Active NJ or Compact nursing license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and Stroke CEUs
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
