Opportunity:

Surgical Technologist - OR

Job Details:

* 10-hour shifts scheduled from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
* Rotating day off included in weekly schedule
* Call required with minimal call requirements of 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks
* 2 weekends shifts per contract required
* Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* BLS certification required
* Trauma Level I experience required
* Required specialty experience: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurology, Vascular, and Urology
* Preferred experience: Da Vinci Robotic Surgery, endovascular procedures, and eye surgery
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* 14-room/14-bed unit with a daily census of 45
* Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures including but not limited to total joint replacement, craniotomy, laparoscopic assisted procedures, laminectomy/discectomy, nephrectomy, carotid endarterectomy, and robotic surgery cases

Facility:

This facility is a well-established health system offering a comprehensive range of surgical services across multiple specialties. The operating room department supports a high-volume caseload with access to advanced surgical technology including robotic surgery platforms. The facility maintains a Trauma Level I designation and provides interdisciplinary support across adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
