Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every 3rd weekend required
* No on-call requirements
* May float to like units within scope to meet facility needs
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT)(R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT)(C)
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, SCRQSA, BLS, ACLS, and SC License
* Experience highly preferred in Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, Orthopedic exams in both modalities, Siemens equipment, EPIC, and PACS
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrub color: Teal blue top, black bottoms
* Parking: Nights and weekends only; one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Radiation badge must be provided by agency
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Primary patient diagnoses include STEMI, Stroke/CVA, Cardiac, and Trauma
* Primarily adult population with some pediatric patients
* Special equipment: Siemens X-Ray and Siemens CT
* Facility allows call-off of 1 shift per 2 weeks for guaranteed hours
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
* 60-mile radius rule applies

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 total staffed beds. The facility supports a wide range of complex patient diagnoses including cardiac, stroke, and trauma cases, with access to interdisciplinary support services including interpretation services and radiology. The imaging department utilizes Siemens equipment across both X-Ray and CT modalities and primarily serves an adult population with some outpatient and pediatric procedures.
