Job Details:

* Work in Women's Services unit with 9 L&D beds, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs & 3 bed OBED
* Patient ratios of 1-2 patients
* Required to work 4 weekend shifts per month
* May float to mother/baby unit or outside department for tasks
* Use CPN and Meditech documentation systems
* Required certifications: RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal monitoring
* Must maintain Patient Experience scores above 75%
* Perform procedures including circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, postpartum hemorrhage with JADA system, and nitrous oxide administration
* Advanced skills in Spinning Babies and STABLE helpful
* Must provide highest quality care to laboring patients and support patient choice for vaginal birth opportunities
* Work with unit secretary, scrub tech, dedicated CRNA, and midwife available 24/7
* OBGYN on call support available
* Required dress code: hot pink and black uniform (black bottoms acceptable, hot pink top preferred)
* Support couplet care model allowing newborns to remain at bedside
* Work with laborist team model and personalized birth experiences

The facility operates with a laborist team model providing 24/7 midwife coverage, dedicated CRNA services, and on-call OBGYN support. The facility includes an 8-bed level 2 NICU with dedicated NNP coverage 24/7, and emphasizes personalized birth experiences with couplet care to promote breastfeeding and family bonding, including donor milk availability when needed.
