Job Details:

* Work variable shifts including 12-hour and 8-hour shifts: Monday 6:45 AM?7:15 PM, Wednesday 6:45 AM?3:15 PM, Thursday 6:45 AM?3:15 PM, and Friday 6:45 AM?7:15 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* 2 call shifts required per month
* No additional on-call requirements
* 2 years of experience in a Trauma OR setting required
* Nevada State RN license required prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Provide comprehensive nursing services to patients ranging from neonates to geriatric populations
* Work in a Level II Trauma OR consisting of 18 operating rooms
* Perform and assist with procedures including trauma, neurosurgery (ACDF, spinal fusions, cranial procedures), Da Vinci Xi robotics, urology, vascular, open heart, general surgery, trauma orthopedics, pediatrics, plastics, and ENT
* Utilize nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
* Coordinate care between other healthcare professionals as needed
* Work in an extremely busy and fast-paced environment with volume and pace comparable to a Level I trauma center

This facility is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, serving a 500-mile radius and treating over 80,000 emergency and trauma patients annually. The facility operates an 800-bed inpatient hospital with 80 emergency room beds and is home to the region's only children's hospital, a leading robotic surgery institute, and comprehensive heart, cancer, and neuroscience services. The facility is recognized for pioneering advanced technologies and treatments in the region, including the first accredited heart failure center, the first Institute for Neurosciences, and the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System.
