RN - Medical/Surgical

Job Details:

* Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas
* Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, X-rays, and other diagnostic tests
* Participate in planning and implementation of written care plans under the direction of a Physician
* Perform standard assessments using basic equipment
* Administer medications with attention to visual acuity and hand-eye coordination
* Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
* Uphold patient safety standards and interact positively with team members and patients
* Respect patients' culture, lifestyle, religion, and age when planning or implementing care
* Active New Hampshire RN license required or eligibility to obtain one
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
* Graduate from an approved School of Nursing required
* Clinical experience preferred
* Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred
* Specialty certification preferred
* BLS certification required
* ACLS certification required
* Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
* Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
