Opportunity:

Operating Room RN

Job Details:

* 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:50 AM to 3:20 PM
* Minimum of 1-2 on-call shifts required per week
* One weekend of on-call required per month
* Guaranteed 32-40 hours per week
* Weekends are not scheduled, on-call only
* Ratio of 1 RN to 1-2 Surgical Techs
* Orthopedic experience required
* Minimum 2 years RN experience required with at least 1 year of Operating Room experience
* First-time travelers not accepted
* WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
* Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (must be through the American Heart Association)
* Charting systems used: CERNER, Omnicell, Accudose (Cerner experience preferred)
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
* Floating within scope is not required
* Block scheduling not available
* No pre-approved time off restrictions

Facility:

This facility is a short-term acute care, non-profit hospital with 70 staffed beds. More than 100 doctors hold privileges to practice at the hospital, and nearly 400 nurses and non-clinical staff serve the surrounding community with emergency services and specialized care. The facility offers free parking for travelers and utilizes CERNER charting systems.
