RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts
* Weekend coverage required
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius
* Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required with at least 1 year of recent experience
* Post-partum experience required
* Ability to circulate for C-sections required
* Previous travel assignment experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
* Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
* Patient population includes straightforward to high acuity patients with co-morbidities, home birth transfers, patients without prenatal care, and patients with substance abuse histories
* Key skills include labor and delivery, vaginal delivery, C-section recovery and circulation, fetal heart rate monitoring (external and internal), magnesium sulfate therapy, postpartum hemorrhage management, neonatal resuscitation, newborn assessment, epidural anesthesia support, and high-risk antepartum care
* All requested time off must be submitted at the time of offer and cannot fall within the first two weeks of the assignment start date
