Special Procedures Technologist

Job Details:

* Support Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro specialties
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Block scheduling with attempts made to schedule as consistently as possible
* Weeknight and weekend call required
* On-call requirement: 8 call days within a 4-week period, with a 2-hour callback minimum
* 1 call weekend every 3-5 weeks, covering Friday through Monday
* 24-hour on-call required on Saturdays and Sundays
* Daily caseload of approximately 15 patients
* Float within cath lab unit as needed; no floating to sister facilities required
* Top procedures include Structural Heart (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac, and EP
* Most common equipment includes Philips imaging systems, Philips Xper hemo system, Philips IVUS/IFR/FFR, Boston IVUS IFR/FFR, OCT, Roto, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave
* Required skills include angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, embolization, endovascular interventions, EVAR, IABP placement/removal, PCI, PTCA, rotablator atherectomy, scrub procedures, sterile technique, TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and upper and lower extremity angiography
* Treat patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, and State License
* Electronic charting experience required
* Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
