TRAVEL - RN L&D

Job Details:

* 13-week travel assignment
* Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule with every other weekend required
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* No on-call requirements
* No floating policy
* 48-hour shift requests cannot be accommodated
* Work in a 4-bed LDR unit with 1:1 pit and 2:1 patient ratios
* No unit secretary or tech support available
* Documentation system: Meditech/CPN
* Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery or specialty hospital experience required
* Must have experience in labor and delivery, recovery, immediate newborn care, golden hour baby care, PACU, and C-section
* Must be able to circulate and scrub C-sections
* Meditech experience preferred
* Ability to scrub C-sections preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN
* Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* Patient experience with AIDET and bedside shift report required
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Nails must be clean and healthy
* Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

This facility is a full-service hospital offering a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit equipped to handle a range of obstetric and newborn care services. The unit supports labor and delivery, recovery, immediate newborn care, and C-sections, providing a comprehensive care environment for patients. The facility utilizes the Meditech/CPN documentation system and maintains high standards for patient experience and clinical care.
