Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Weekend coverage every other weekend, subject to change based on need
* Minimum 1 year of emergency room experience required
* First-time travelers will be reviewed based on skill and experience
* Must have a minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience
* Documentation system: EPIC
* Medication system: Omnicell
* Floating to other units may be required based on need
* Patient ratio: 4:1
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, PALS, TN RN License
* Preferred certification: TNCC
* Required skills include: abdominal pain management, acute psychosis, arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, chest tube insertion and management, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, managing violent behavior, mental and behavioral health conditions, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, triage, and additional emergency department competencies

Facility:

This is a large emergency department facility featuring 27 rooms and 44 beds, with a daily census of approximately 130 patients per day. The facility is both a STEMI-certified and stroke-certified facility, equipped to handle a wide range of emergency cases including trauma, behavioral health, and critical care needs. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy, ensuring comprehensive patient care across all age groups.
