CVOR

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for day shifts
* Serves adult and geriatric patient populations
* Call required - typically one weekday/call per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
* Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed, including to Main OR
* Rotating weekend shifts required
* No self-scheduling; block schedules not honored
* Travel pairs not accepted
* Maximum of 7 days of RTO per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* No RTO can be requested during orientation week
* Holiday coverage expected based on assignment period - if one or two major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if three fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work two
* Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred; Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Required skills include CABG, CVOR, TAVR, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, Mitral valve replacement, MAZE Procedure, Carotid Endarterectomy, VATS, scrubbing for cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries, and additional cardiac and vascular procedures
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory and interpretation services
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required
